Cloudflare, Inc.
NET
Cloudflare, Inc. operates a global cloud network that sits between internet users and applications, helping customers improve security, performance, and reliability. Its products span content delivery, DDoS protection, zero-trust security, developer platforms, and network services, so it sells into both website owners and broader enterprise IT budgets.
The company largely makes money through subscription software and usage-based services delivered over its own network. That model can be attractive because once customers route traffic, security, and application workloads through Cloudflare, the platform can expand across more use cases over time.
Business quality looks strong in several respects. Cloudflare has a large addressable market, a well-known brand in internet infrastructure, and a platform strategy that can support cross-sell from performance tools into security and developer services. The stock’s trend is also powerful: at 326.15, shares sit near the 52-week high of 332.22 and well above the 50-day average of 285.10 and 200-day average of 224.57.
The challenge is valuation. A market cap of 116.14 billion and forward P/E of 194.58x leave little room for disappointment, especially since EPS TTM is -0.58, which shows GAAP profitability is still not established. Investors are paying for long-duration growth, operating leverage, and strategic importance rather than current earnings strength.
That setup makes Cloudflare compelling as a high-quality growth story, but not an easy stock to call attractive at any price. Near its highs and on a very rich multiple, the shares look priced for continued strong execution.
